Jinx
Powers: shoots energy blasts capable of damage and very bad luck
Alignment: Ally
Background
Jinx wields the power of bad luck, and is able to shoot forth highly damaging blasts of dark-light energy from her hands. She is almost always accompanied by fellow HIVE members Gizmo and Mammoth on villain schemes. They've been causing trouble for the Teen Titans since the beginning, kicking off with an invasion and takeover of Titans Tower. It was soon revealed that it was all a ploy set up by Slade to send the Titans a message: Slade was in town.
Later, Jinx's trio were shown to be students at the HIVE Academy, who had a change of leaders: from the original Headmistress to headmaster Brother Blood. After Cyborg (as Stone) and Bumblebee sabatoged the first HIVE Academy base, Brother Blood took his operation underwater. Once again the base was destroyed, thanks to the combined efforts of Titans West and Titans East.
In "Lightspeed", speedster hero Kid Flash immediately takes a liking to Jinx during his first run-in with the HIVE Five. The HIVE Five members were in the middle of robbing an Egyptian museum exhibit, where Jinx's goal was attaining an amulet that would grant her good luck (and maybe nullify her own bad luck powers). He tries to convince her to rethink her ways. When she asks him why he's so interested in "converting" her to the side of good, he confesses that he finds her interesting, "different", and capable of great potential outside a life of petty crime. Despite Jinx fooling him into a HIVE Five ambush during their talks (and then later capturing him for Madame Rouge), he insists on looking after her. Jinx reveals to him that her "power" of bad luck wasn't a choice, and lead her to the path of villainy. Kid Flash's concern for her is occasionally marked with a gift of a rose, and several times they've come close to an apparently romantic understanding of each other.
After being rejected by Madame Rouge for the last time, Jinx overcomes her idolation of Rouge as well as her dream of rising among the Brotherhood's ranks. Finally realizing she wants a better life, she helps Kid Flash escape. Kid Flash's attempts to get to know her causes her to at last consider leaving the HIVE team in order to pursue her own destiny, and we last see her walking off in indecision.
In "Titans Together", Kid Flash arrives to the final showdown with Jinx, who is very clearly on the side of good now. She attacks her former HIVE Five teammates, much to their dismay, and also aids the other Titans in capturing her former idol Madame Rouge.
At the end of "Titans Together", she is also seen among the ranks of the other newly acquired Titans members, making it even clearer the path she's chosen for herself.
Personality
Despite hanging out with Gizmo and Mammoth (who prove to be slackers even when it comes to villainy), Jinx is a very ambitious go-getter with a slight mean streak. Because of her goals to rise among the ranks of villains, she tries her best to be an effective HIVE member under both its regimes. She also idolized Madame Rouge of the Brotherhood of Evil, before Kid Flash steps in to change her mind.
Jinx admits to Kid Flash that she's never felt fulfilled with the HIVE, and that her "evil" powers made her decide to become a villain. Because of this, it is entirely possible there is a whole other side to Jinx never shown, and thanks to Kid Flash, it may just have a chance to shine. After foregoing her dream of joining the Brotherhood of Evil, she leaves to discover a new path for herself, perhaps even one of good.
