Robin
Powers: highly trained in martial arts, detective skills, and wields a wide range of gadgets and weaponry
Alignment: Hero
Background
The former protege of the urban legend, the Dark Knight, Robin represents years of intensive physical and mental training. Like his mentor, he is able to methodically and effectively combat both physical threats and mysteries with incredible skill. Not much of his pre-superhero life has been given light, but teammate Raven discovered much insight into the Titan leader's past, as well as his personal demons in "Haunted". Scenes of a familiar cave, and of two figures flying high above a trapeze, are but a few outtakes from Robin's troubled and eventful past.
In the future, Robin has also been shown to take on the title and costume of Nightwing, following the Titans' possible breakup in "How Long is Forever?".
Personality
Robin is a natural born leader. Fiercely determined to keep the villains at bay and innocent lives out of trouble, he can often be too hard on himself. Many times he has proven to sometimes take his duties too seriously, at the risk of endangering himself and those he cares for.
Out of all the villains the team has faced, the one that gets under Robin's skin most of all is Slade. Robin insists that the two are nothing alike, despite Slade's claims to the contrary. Several encounters with him have lead dangerously close to causing rifts between Robin and his friends. As Starfire and the others have pointed out, Robin must put aside his fixation on Slade and put more trust in his teammates if he wishes to resolve the threat.
Despite his struggles, Robin has time and again proven to be a great leader. He cares for all of his friends deeply, and will fight to the finish to defend them. Robin also has a close bond with Starfire, who has grown to have much faith in him and his abilities.
